Lithuanian driving licence

My employee is in court tomorrow for a drink driving offence (114 in breath). I know he will almost certainly be banned from driving in the UK. He is Lithuanian, and has a Lithuanian drivers licence. Will he have to surrender his licence tomorrow? And, will he automatically be banned from driving in Lithuania?

Any driving ban will only be applicable in the UK and countries with which there is a mutual recognition agreement, no such agreement exists with Lithuania. Your employees licence will not be taken from him if it is a Lithuanian licence as the disqualification will be recorded against his UK driving record.
