Hi, I acted like an idiot and was caught drink driving on 26 December. I had only 3 glasses of port wine and felt fine so didn't think the alcohol level will be high. Anyway I was asked for a blood test and the result is 98 for 100ml of blood. The thing is the car I was caught in belongs to a friend so I gave his name when the police asked for it thinking they just stopped for a routine check. He is there in the car with me at the time and he knows everything. I have only a provisional license but he had the full license. They didn't ask my license or anything at that time and the court notice came on his name. So what should I do now?? I was thinking to say to the clerk what happened and change it to my name. Will it be ok? I was planning to take him with me to prove I didn't try to cheat or anything. Please help me how to proceed.
