Arrested for drink driving

I am to appear in court on the 1st Feb after being arrestedfor drink driving and blowing 66 on the breath tester in the station. Icurrently do not have a solicitor and was looking for some advice? I am locatedin the blackpool area. Thanks

The Magistrates sentencing guidelines advise a 17-22 month disqualification with a reading of 66 in breath, if this is your first offence you should also be offered the drink drive rehabilitation course which will reduce the disqualification by up to 25%. I'm afraid that there is no guarantee that you will be able to speak to the duty solicitor at Court, or that they will be able to represent you in your hearing. We would make sure that the case is fully prepared before the hearing, we provide clients with guidance on how to set out character references and take a detailed statement from you before the hearing as well as the representation at Court. There is also no guarantee that even if the duty solicitor is able to represent you that they will specialise in this area of law as my department does, we would be able to give you a fixed fee quote over the phone that would cover the case in full if you are looking for representation.
