i was stopped by police after a misunderstanding with my husband .i thought he said pick him up.in fact he was saying i have a lift and will see you shortly.it was 2.30am i panicked because he wasn't home jumped in the car (without shoes) , went half a mile down the road and was stopped.i was taken to the police station , was breathalysed - 3 times over the limit, kept in all night.first offence - clear record- no problems with alcohol before.what sentence will i get.

If your reading is approximately 105 in breath then the Magistrates will impose a 23-28 month disqualification. The Court will also impose a community order which will likely be unpaid work but can also involve a curfew. Because of the range of sentencing the Magistrates have it can often be helpful to have representation on the day to try and keep any sentence down to a minimum.
