drug misuse an dependency

I went for dvla medical 3 weeks ago and while I was there I told the doctor I occasionally smoke weed t help me sleep as I have an occurring neck pain, mayb 2 or 3 a week and only at bed time, the doctor told me this wasn't a problem as I'm there 4 drink driving so they will test 4 alcohol.


I got my letter yesterday sayin there refusing t give me my license back as I'm a dependent or drug misuser, now I hav t wait 6 months til I can reapply. Ad I'm neither of these is there something I can do???? Will me GP b able t prove I'm not dependant on drugs????

You certainly gave the Doctor and DVLA everything they need to withhold your licence and they will now follow the usual procedure. The evidence came from yourself and I think that it will now be very difficult to convince them otherwise. I would wait 6 months and then apply again.
