Hi

I will try and make this as short as possible;

Jan 2005 - Stopped for DDriving, 3 year ban (55 mg)
Jan 2007 - Drunk in Charge, (80mg) Went to court Sept 2007 and given 3 months in jail and 5 year ban, and extended test

Applied Sept 2010 and rejected.

I am due it back Sept this year, is there any point in reapplying for what would be possibly a 3 month reduction?

I deliberately haven't put down any circumstances as they didn't seem to make any difference to outcome originally.

many thanks

It's obviously up to you. You would have to have the application listed and attend a hearing at the court that imposed the disqualification in the first place. You are entitled to introduce evidence in support of your application. The court will consider things like:
- Your record since the ban was imposed
- The circumstances and seriousness of the original offence that led to the ban
- Any other circumstances that are relevant. For example, you would be assisted if you were being offered a job that required a driving licence.

Legal representation is recommended, preferrably by a drink driving solicitor. This can usually arranged for a fixed fee. Call us on 08450020736 for a quote.
