Banned in Spain but also got British Nationality

Hi,
I was banned from driving in Spain but now that I`ve moved to the UK can I use my British Passport to apply for a British driving licence? I obtained my Spanish driving licence with my Spanish Passport.

Yes. However you are only entitled to a provisional licence and would have to pass a UK test before being able to obtain your full UK licence.

Your ban in Spain has no effect in the UK but you cannot rely on your Spanish licence to obtain a UK licence.
