Hi,

I have been convicted and banned for 24 months for driving while disqualified and failing to provide a breath sample. Is it possible with enough mitigation to approach the court via legal representation to be considered for the driving rehabilitation course.

Thanks

Louisa

Yes it is possible. However, the drink drive rehabilitation course can only be offered when the court passes sentence, not retrospectively. Therefore, you would have to appeal against sentence and this must be done in writing within 21 days of being sentenced.

Thank you so much for your reply. Is there any possibility I could instruct a new legal team to take over on the grounds that my previous legal team acted ineffectively by not asking for the course?

Thanks

Louisa

Yes, you can do that. However if you want to appeal you need to act quickly to comply with the time limit. I suggest you call us tomorrow on 08450020736.
