Drug misuse is a medical condition which can affect your eligibility to drive, so there is a risk that this could be an issue if discovered by the DVLA. Cannabis falls within the list of substances for which persistent use or dependency can result in a licence being refused or revoked.

As far as I'm aware the medical examination under the High Risk Offenders scheme focuses identifying factors which are indicative of alcohol dependency misuse. Drug-related issues may beyond its scope. However I'm not sure whether they also screen for drugs or ask questions about drug issues as part of the process so you may still be at risk of having you licence refused.
