I was alledged to have forged a driver licence which I am 100% sure is not forged its German driver licence due to the ignorance of the said officer my car was pound. Taken to the station was realesed on police bail. I had to go with my Spouse who also use a German driver licence to pick up the car at a cost of £170. 10 days later the officer said I lied to my insurance that I have a UK full licence which invalidates my policy. I phone the insurance i was not aware of this. I was told that is what i fill when on the net to take out a policy along with my spouse. The isurance corrected the error with an admin fee. My licence is still going on verification . I beleive I have not commited an offence with the insurance the officer is only looking for an excuse getting at me. He said when I come for my bail we shall deal with the insurance part of it. This is my first encounter with the police, Do you think I need a Solicitor?
