Hi,
As an exuberant youth, had a DR10 1997, ban 12m, and 2001 a second DR10, ban 3 years + comm service (because of no fine).
Thus, first conviction is now almost 14 years old, second one is almost 10.
I understand drink drive bans are criminal convictions, and that in UK these are now 'spent' as the rehabilitation time is the ban time ??
Thus if applying for a job (in Holland, not UK) that asks the usual "Have you ever been convicted or sentenced in criminal proceedings (excluding minor traffic violations)", assuming these are both spent, also in different jurisdictions, am I right to say "no" ?
Note job is in IT that require high level checks.
Any advice is welcome.
Cheers.
