my partner was caught speeding but the fine was sent to our old address as he had not changed it since moving home. he therefore missed the payment and got a court summons, he also missed this as it again was sent to our old address, they sent out a warrent for his arrest to out new address and has been told to surrendor himself to the police and they will take him down to court. what will happen?

If your partner never received any correspondence then he has likely been convicted in his absence of failing to furnish driver information. This offence carries an endorsement of 6 points and a fine.
