Advice needed please

Hi, I need advice. I have hit a pedestrian whilst driving, the pedestriab died at the scene. I have been told to get legal help and that I can request a private PM, is this costky and is it advised? Will my insurance be void as I was drunk whilst driving and what is likely to happen to me?

This is a very serious situation and the importance of seeking specialist legal advice can not be overstated.

The police will likely be considering a charge of causing death by careless driving whilst unfit through drink or death by dangerous driving. Both offences carry a custodial sentence of up to 14 years on conviction.
