Ban 'postponement'?

Convicted Driver Insurance

My partner has just been charged (Saturday) with DD - first offence - and is to appear in court on the 9th. Because we have a disabled daughter and I don't currently have a full license, (I'm still learning), do you think there's the remotest possibility that the court would agree to 'postpone' the inevitable ban for a month/few months or so in order that I could pass my test and be able to drive my daughter to wherever it is she needs to go? Alternatively - and I know this is a long shot - would they, in spite of not allowing my partner to actually drive, allow him to accompany me when I drive using my provisional license?

Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer in this regard.

If your partner were to plead guilty, the ban would start immediately. However, motoring lawyers are able to use a variety of tactics in drink drive cases in order to legitimately delay cases. If you require any further assistance could I ask you to contact me on 01942 774179.
