Hi,

I have a drink driving case which we have pleaded not guilty to as we believed the procedures were not taken properly in the station and i was not treated right. The duty solicitor has asked for the camera recordings for the day I was taken to custody.

But I have now recieved a letter which says the cameras were faulty in the station on the day I was in the custody.

So I am now in the stage of hiring a drink driving solicitor to run my case but i just would like to know how we will ever be able to prove anything without the camera recordings?

Is there any previous cases that this type of circumstances occured and what was the result of them?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Regards

Unfortunately it is not uncommon for there to be no CCTV available or the for the CCTV to be faulty and therefore cannot be used to assist any defence. However, a specialist drink driving Solicitor can usually advise and defend a case on the basis of faulty procedure via the written evidence.

If you wanted to engage the services of a specialist Solicitor then it is essential to instruct one as a matter of urgency given that your case has been listed for trial.

If you would like to discuss this matter or require any further advice please feel free to call us on 08450020736 .
