Failing to stop/report an accident & drink driving

I was convicted of drink driving a few months ago. When I was charged by the police I was charged with drink driving and failing to stop/report an accident. When I actually appeared at court, the failing to stop/report an accident was dropped and I was convicted of drink driving only.

My question is. Will the failing to stop/report an accident still appear as an endorsement of my driving licence when I get it back and why was it dropped?

it seems to me they went for the most serious charge only.

if they did`nt convict you of it then you have no endorsement. end of.

I hit a bollard and didnt stop/report it. I was hoping that would be the case. Insurance is going to be sky high with just the DD conviction alone!

IF you were not convicted of the Failing to Stop/Report then your licence will not be endorsed with these offences
