Can I appeal

Hi I am currently one month in to an eleven month ban for being just over the limit, I have paid my fine in full and will be sitting the awareness course shortly, I have been told by Work that they are looking to promote me but it means travelling to various sites something currently I am unable to do. Can I appeal the ban?? Thanks for any advice given

Unfortunately any ban imposed can only be appealed within 21 days of the decision being made by the court. I assume that the 11 months is calculated on the assumption that you successfully complete a drink driving rehabilitation course in the time period allocated. You appear to have been sentence in the lowest possible sentencing bracket. The lowest ban you can receive in this sort of case is a 12 month ban (with 3 months potentially taken off upon completion of any drink driving rehabilitation course offered). Your personal circumstances would not avoid or encourage the court to lift a ban, unfortunately.
