Urine Sample

Hi i was recently caught drink driving. Whilst at the station i blew 49 so was able to have a urine sample taken. I have my own urine sample and wanted to know if it is a good idea to send it off for independent testing.?

for peace of mind yes.

the police can take anything upto 8 weeks to get there results back. If you arrange your own sample you can find out within days.

I sent my blood sample to Dr Griffiths at Bangor Hospital. Cost was only £48 at the time.

Got a call the next day and letter within three days.

If you know in advance of being charged your going to be over it gives you time to put things in order and prepare for the time without your car.
