Will police cuts lead to fewer DD convictions?

With the proposed government cuts to police numbers and redundancies there will be fewer police to spot and catch drink drivers. Does that mean that more people will get away with Drink driving?

I've just been caught by cctv and fined £60 for being in a bus lane...that'll be the next thing - have cameras spying on you in pubs!
