Hello Forum,
I was convicted of a DR10 earlier in 2015. Breath reading of 90 - I received £1300 fine and a ban of 2 years with the option of a reduction on completion of the awareness course.
I am an contractor working generally in the Finance industry. I will be looking for further work in the UK based Banks & Insurance companies later this year.
I am trying to gather some information on what issues I might face. I understand that my conviction will show up on all DBS checks for a long while as yet and that at least a basic disclosure is normally requested.
Does anyone has any experience of getting work in the Finance industry with the drink drive conviction?
Any help/advice/tales of woe or (hopefully) success welcome.
