Irish Drink Driving Conviction

Hi,

I was disqualified from driving in Ireland for drink driving for two years. I have my license back since January of this year.

I am in the process of getting a new job in the UK and part of the job includes a company car or car allowance. Will this previous conviction have any affect on my new job?

You will have to declare your conviction to your prospective employer if you are driving for them, for insurance purposes. It will depend on the individual company as to what their policy is on DR10's on your licence.
