Hi very worried at the moment,just finishing my 12mth ban dr10,not driving yet due to original accident and another operation.Anyhow after crashing my car (nobody was hurt luckily just myself) I was in hospital for a few weeks due to a very bad leg/ankle injury,I had my Mrs cancel my 2 insurance policies when i was in hospital, 1 for my main car and the other policy for the old capri i was restoring this has been garaged for past 5 years.Digging out my old insurance for No Claims Discount info, today came across my old policies, 1 had been cancelled,found letter unopened the other is still running automatic with the renewal they posted a few months ago (paying direct debit )which i thought the wife had stopped we have a joint back account. I've asked her about it and she told me that she thought it was for something else being less than £20 and never really noticed.
Very worried about fraud and what will happen next as this was no way intentional but they never see it that way.
