Hi there,
I have been stopped by a police officer who asked me to do a breathalyzer test which read at 70.
the way the night webt..
we we decided to go out as we are a new team at work, I drive us there and so I had 1 pint at a casino and then to another bar where I didn't drink. Got to around 4am and we met some oter people who we kne so we started chatting and I decided to have a drink and get a hotel. When I was drinking I realised I needed to park my car which I then did.. But then carried on drinking ALOT of vodka after that.. Police officer tuns up 15 minutes later and does a breath test which is 70. His reasons we're that there had been reports that if been drink driving when I had left the second bar.
I have my two work coleagues who were there as evidence to support my defence. Police say they had a call saying I was drink driving..
what are your thoughts? I believe I have been charged based on circumstanes rather than evidence as I hadn't been breathalysers for at least 15-20 minutes after driving.. After doing some research this is more than enough time for an alcohol level to to that level
