No you lose it, you have to wait 6 months and can then reapply again.
I shouldn't have any problems with the blood/urine tests as I've never been much of a drinker anyway (5-6 pints, once a week - more at holidays) and haven't touched a drop since new years eve. But I'm a bit worried about the questionnaire as I was nicked for Drunk and Disorderly a few months after my drink drive and I don't know whether this is an automatic fail. It seems a bit of a waste of £100 if it is - does anyone know whether there is any way I could find this out?
You will need to check with the DVLA to be sure but I don't see why it a Drunk and Disorderly offence would prevent you from have a new licence issued. The test is a purely medical test
