Need advice - Blew 69

Hi,

I need some advise as I was caught driving and blew 69 on the station. I was driving a short distance of 1.5 miles.

I will plead guilty in the court however what would be the ban on driving and can i opt for Drink drive rehabilitation course to reduce the ban?

Can duty solicitor provide some advise in the court and defend my case?

At 69 in breath the sentencing guidelines recommend that the courts consider a 17-22 month ban and Band C fine.

There is no reason why you should not be considered suitable for the rehabilitation course. This is an option which must be offered to you at the point of sentencing so make sure you ask for it when you are in being sentenced. The course must be completed within a strict time deadline. Upon successful completion of the course you can apply for the return of your licence up to 25% earlier.

There will be a duty solicitor at court on the day. However, whether or not they can represent you will depend on how busy they are.
