Dear Sirs,

I'm not UK citizen and keep EU driving license. I was sentenced (by Slough County Court) for 16 month for drink-drive as my blood test showed 168 points (2 times more then the limit). Also I paid the penalty of £650. I pledged myself guilty, but judge didn't offer my DDRS and, to be honest, i thought i would be fine as i didn't plan to come to UK often. But now after 6 month my 1st ban gone, my life had changed and I desperately need to drive across UK. Is there any way I can ask the court to review my sentence and get my license back any sooner then 1 year time (from now).

Thank you for your ideas!

The only way to have the sentence revisited now would be to lodge an appeal. However there is only a right of appeal within 21 days of the hearing, it would now be very difficult to convince the Court to allow an appeal so far out of time. However it may be worth calling the Court just to make sure that the course was not in fact offered as part of the sentence.
