This may be an obvious question but is not something that has affected me before. I was convicted of drink driving in June 2006 after I stupidly drove my car home from my village pub. I was given a 16 month ban which was reduced to 12 months after I did the course and fined around £200. I didn't seem to have any problem getting a job after that and started working for a finance company. I have since left and have been searching for other employment, not too surprisingly I was unable to apply for jobs that involved driving for at least 5 years. I have been offered a job for the NHS and they have said they will need to do a CRB check. Will my driving ban show up and will this stop me getting a job?
